Scrabble-bot would accept entry of all of a player's letters, then return word-matches ordered by letter score descending. Allow entering as many letters as desired, so player can leverage existing opportunities on the board. Smarter version would accept and weight-rank to favor a desired length (i.e. to reach for a Triple Word Score space).
P.S. ScrabbleFinder already does some of that, for instance http://www.scrabblefinder.com/word/abcdef/ will tell you "abcdef" is not a real word, but will show you what real words you can make with the letters.
Thanks for the idea! Could be cool, but I'm not sure I want to compete with all the other Scrabble helper sites out there yet.
At this point I'm focused on just publicizing the SQL for the DLD algorithm, but maybe later, this could be a good way to show how to apply it.
